Refund Policy

At BillOfSaleKit, we want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. Because our products are digital documents delivered instantly, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Digital Goods

All documents sold through BillOfSaleKit are digital goods. Once a document has been successfully generated and made available for download, it is considered delivered. Due to the nature of digital products, which cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense, our refund policy differs from physical goods. We encourage all users to take advantage of the free preview feature to review their document carefully before completing a purchase.

When We Issue Refunds

We will issue a full refund within 30 days of purchase in the following circumstances:

• Technical failure: If a technical issue on our end prevents you from downloading or accessing your purchased document, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to a full refund.
• Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same document due to a payment processing error, we will refund all duplicate charges.
• Document not generated: If your payment was processed but your document was never generated or made available for download, you are entitled to a full refund.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:

• Delivered digital goods: Once your document has been successfully generated and is available for download, we cannot issue a refund because the digital product has been delivered.
• Change of mind: We cannot issue refunds if you simply change your mind about the purchase, decide not to complete the transaction for which the bill of sale was created, or no longer need the document.
• User error: If the document contains incorrect information that was entered by you during the creation process, this is not grounds for a refund. However, we will correct errors for free (see below).
• Third-party rejection: If a government agency, DMV, or other third party declines to accept the document for reasons outside our control (such as changed requirements or additional state-specific forms being required), this is not grounds for a refund.

Free Error Corrections

We stand behind the quality of our documents. If your document contains an error, whether caused by our system or by a data entry mistake on your part, we will correct it for free. Simply contact our support team with your document details and the corrections needed, and we will generate a corrected document at no additional charge. This applies to:

• Typos or misspellings in names, addresses, or descriptions
• Incorrect dates, prices, or transaction details
• Wrong state selected for the document
• Missing information that should have been included
• Formatting or layout issues

There is no time limit on free error corrections. Contact us at any time and we will fix your document.

30-Day Window

All eligible refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date. After 30 days, we are unable to process refund requests. However, free error corrections remain available regardless of when the document was purchased.
